As a family run tour operator in Namibia we are offering your tailored safari experience in Namibia and Botswana. Together with our regional focus and our partner company Dusty Car Hire, we offer complete services from pre-designed trips, designing individual trips according to your wishes to renting safari vehicles and camping equipment.

Car Rental
Having a good and reliable 4x4 is essential for the success and enjoyment of your trip to Africa. For that reason our car hire fleet is built up with heavy duty and reliable 4x4 cars. Dusty Trails offers a broad variety of rental cars. Safari travel to Southern Africa can be very different. Depending on whether you prefer camping, sleeping in lodges, may it be a self-drive trip or a group tour. We offer for each variant the right rental car. Including all the equipment you will need for your perfect trip.
Self Drive Trips
Self Drive Safaris are the best choice if you want to discover southern Africa on your own pace but still in a planned and secured manner. Dusty Trails Safaris offers a variety of pre-built trips that we tried and believe they combine nicely depending on time and area. Based upon those trips, you of course can create your individualized trip fitting best to your desires. We will take care of all the planning and booking and provide a detailed roadbook to follow up on during your trip. Of course you will also get some tips and tricks to cope best with potentially unknown situations. Traveling on your own is also the best chance to get in contact with locals. So if you are looking for a good combination of freedom in travelling but a safe planning - Self Drive Safaris should be your preferred option.
Guided Tours
Your first time in Namibia? Your first ever safari? Not too sure what to expect and how to behave in the wilderness of this beautiful country? Not an issue at all. Dusty Trails Safaris will give you lots of advice and helping information before you go on your trip. Navigation system and satellite phone will be part of your equipment. But if that still doesn't make you feel comfortable, we are more than happy to book you one of our guides to be with you throughout your trip. He will make sure your holidays get unforgettable and a lifetime experience!
Usually you will have a guide on mixed group trips. But if you travel as a group of friends or family - you can get your own guide and driver as well.
Fly-In Safaris
Namibia and its neighbor countries offer fascinating places to explore. The distance may be huge and the roads can take a while. You want to see a specific number of places but are limited on time? Then let Dusty Trails Safaris check the possibility of a fly-in safari. Aeroplanes help to reach far away destinations. Or places which might be difficult or even impossible to reach during specific seasons of the year. Sure we can find a way to make your trip as perfect as possible!
