Engage in wildlife conservation & Explore the "hidden dunes" in the Kalahari semi desert
Starting from Windhoek you will proceed towards Kalahari North region to Harnas Wildlife Foundation. There you will be introduced into one of the private wildlife conservancy projects of the country. Also it is a very good chance to get in contact with the Namibian wildlife.
From there we head on south further into the Kalahari desert to Bagatelle Kalahari Game Ranch. Here you will get a very good impression on the Kalahari semi desert landscape and experience the local wildlife again.
Conquer the Namib desert climbing the dunes of Sossusvlei & Enter the colonial time capsule of Swakopmund and feel the breeze of the ocean
Leaving the Kalahari the trip proceeds into the beautiful Naukluft mountains. This will also be the starting point for a day trip to some of the most popular spots in Namibia. The spectacular dunes of Sossusvlei with the Dead Vlei and the closeby Sesriem Canyon.
After the heat of the desert we go to the shores to Swakopmund. A time capsule from colonial times offering the chance for boat cruises, seal watching and experiencing dunes nearly reaching into the ocean.
Discover amazing rock paintings and engraving a the world heritage site of Twyfelfontein & Enjoy the rich wildlife of Etosha national park
And still the Namibia Highlights will continue! Of course this trip is also bringing you to Twyfelfontein – Namibias world heritage site for ancient rock paintings and engravings. With a bit of luck there will be even the chance to spot some Black Rhinos. For everybody not getting enough of the rich Namibian wildlife the trip will proceed through further nice spots in the Kunene region towards the Etosha national park.
