Namibia
Namibia stands for very varied, mostly dry landscapes, in which desert and steppe animals such as antelopes, elephants, giraffes and big cats can be discovered. The country is strongly characterized by Namib & Kalahari Desert but also offers a long coastline as well as various rivers such as Orange River, Kwando, Zambezi, Okavango, which bring continuous greenery. These landscapes are rounded off with mountain ranges, bush areas and gorges. The largest salt lake in Namibia also marks the largest national park - Etosha National Park.
Botswana
Botswana, on the other hand, is more influenced by water, but no less diverse. The landscape is dominated by river & wetlands, but you don't have to do without classic bush landscapes. Probably the most famous attractions of Botswana make the hearts of many people beat faster - the Okavango Delta and the Chobe National Park. Water is life - and so you will find in the wetlands of Botswana impressive amounts of wildlife like hippos, buffalos, elephants, antelopes, predatory cats, rare bird species and many more.
